Maine Coon Reservation & Delivery

A Clear, Responsible and Guided Process

Choosing a Maine Coon is an important decision. On this page, we explain each step of our reservation and delivery process so you know exactly what to expect when welcoming one of our Maine Coon kittens into your family.
MEETING OUR KITTENS

How You Can Meet Them

Before making a reservation, we want you to feel fully informed and confident in your decision.

You can:

  • View up-to-date photos and videos.
  • Arrange a personalised video call.
  • Visit our cattery by appointment.

We believe this decision should be made thoughtfully, without pressure or haste.

THE RESERVATION

A Clear and Straightforward Commitment

Once a family decides to reserve a kitten, the reservation is confirmed with a deposit.

Your reservation includes:

  • Reservation agreement
  • Agreed final price
  • Specific arrangements (collection or transport)
  • Clear information about the expected timeline
PRICING

The Value of Each Litter

The price of each kitten is determined individually based on several factors, including:

  • Structure and breed type
  • Bloodlines
  • Sex
  • Individual characteristics

We do not use fixed pricing. Every kitten is assessed responsibly and fairly, because each litter is unique and valued individually.

THE FINAL AGREEMENT

Commitment and Formalisation

Before your kitten goes home, the final contract is signed. It includes:

  • Ownership responsibilities
  • Spay/neuter agreement
  • Data protection
  • Swedpedraforca VIP Club membership options
  • Transport conditions (where applicable)

This agreement protects both your kitten and your family.

RESPONSIBLE HANDOVER

Why Do Our Kittens Go Home at 12 Weeks?

Our Maine Coon kittens go to their new homes from 12 weeks of age onwards.

This time is essential to:

  • Complete their socialisation.
  • Receive their first core vaccinations.
  • Ensure healthy emotional development.
  • Support balanced physical and behavioural growth.

We never send kittens home earlier. Their wellbeing always comes before convenience.

DOCUMENTATION & PREPARATION

Everything Ready for Their Arrival

When your kitten goes home, every family receives a folder containing:

  • Up-to-date veterinary health record
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Internal and external parasite treatments
  • Microchip registration
  • Signed contract
  • Basic guidance for a smooth transition
PEDIGREE & NEUTERING

Health Guarantees and Responsible Breeding

The pedigree is processed and delivered once we receive the kitten’s neutering certificate.

We do not neuter kittens before they leave for their new homes, as they are still too young.

The family agrees to arrange the procedure at the appropriate age, as established in the contract.

This commitment is part of our responsibility as ethical breeders.

Este compromiso forma parte de nuestra responsabilidad con la raza.

TRANSPORT

Delivery Options

If you are unable to collect your kitten in person, we offer:

  • Professional pet transport within Spain
  • International transport options

We work with specialised pet transport services to ensure your kitten travels safely and comfortably.

Every transport arrangement is assessed individually.
