Each of our breeding queens has been carefully selected not only for her exceptional beauty, but also for her health, temperament and balanced character.

Selection, Temperament and Wellbeing
At Swedpedraforca, our breeding queens are valued not only for their beauty and structure, but also for their balanced temperament.
They live in a family environment and receive individualised care, which is essential for encouraging proper socialisation and passing on stable temperaments to their kittens.
The selection of each female is part of a long-term commitment based on health, genetics and responsible breeding.
All of our queens undergo comprehensive genetic testing, including HCM (MYBPC3), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef), Factor XII Deficiency (F12), MDR1 and PKD. They are also tested for Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), with the corresponding veterinary reports available.
