Our Male Maine Coon Breeding Cats
Our male breeding cats are carefully selected for their temperament, health and genetic quality. Each one plays an important role in Swedpedraforca's responsible breeding programme.
We work with carefully selected bloodlines, always prioritising health, stable temperaments, and respect for the breed standard.
Selection, Temperament and Wellbeing
At Swedpedraforca, our breeding males are valued not only for their beauty and structure, but also for their balanced temperament.
They live in a family environment and receive individualised care, which is essential for encouraging proper socialisation and passing on stable temperaments to their kittens.
The selection of each male is part of a long-term commitment based on health, genetics and responsible breeding.
All of our males undergo comprehensive genetic testing, including HCM (MYBPC3), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef), Factor XII Deficiency (F12), MDR1 and PKD. They are also tested for Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), with the corresponding veterinary reports available.
